I started teaching Dot addition. She LOVED it. She enjoys her math cards so much now, and she got upset when we were done! She likes her piano lessons, too, but her attention isn’t very long there. She still watches her word cards with rapt attention, and will sit down and watch her videos most of the time, now. I’m going to set aside all of the body part word cards and make it a game to see how fast she can point to it.
“It wasn’t that he stopped liking reading, it was that his schedule became busier. He now had an entire household to explore. He has all those kitchen cabinets to open and close, all those plugs to investigate, every piece of fuzz on the carpet has to be picked up and eaten before the sun sets. You have to admit that there is an awful lot on a seven-month-old’s plate when it comes to search and destroy.” – Glenn Doman, How To Teach Your Baby To Read
