Free Formula! If you haven’t signed up for Enfamil Family Beginnings, they have even more cool stuff they are sending out now compared to before. Up to $250 in free gifts, 1 week supply of Enfamil, and $60 savings on formula. They weren’t giving the free stuff out at my hospital when I had Dot, but this time there is a spot to actually enter the name and city of the hospital you are delivering. I’m hoping to get some great coupons and goodies this time around! The picture is the link.

ETA: I was already a member of Enfamil’s Site, so when I signed up for this, I skipped the registration step – and it seemed to work just fine. I guess this is a completely new program.
Dot ate well again today. I kept piling linguine with clam sauce on her plate and she ate every bit, and some Caesar Salad. She is definitely on an applesauce kick, too. A growth spurt, perhaps?
We did some gardening today. I’m having a hard time keeping Dot from playing in the freshly turned dirt. When I planted the pumpkins, I had smashed an old pumpkin to the side for the seeds, and there were a bunch left in a pile there, which Dot thought was her private supply of seeds. The pumpkin patch has one mound with a bunch of seedlings coming up that Dot planted herself. I might have random pumpkins coming up in the main garden, too, thanks to her stealth planting, lol!
I was so proud of her at dinner today – she ate most of her meatloaf, had seconds of both mashed potatoes and green beans (and said “Thank you Mom”), and ate nearly the whole thing with her fork! I even let her have her applesauce and she ate the entire thing with her spoon and didn’t spill a bit!
I think the applesauce has worked – Dot’s system seems to be back to normal. She is eating better, too. Hooray!
Dot was up for two hours in the middle of the night with a bit of a tummy ache – I had to change 3 diapers! Time for some applesauce and rice, I think. We already have yogurt almost every day.
When I got home from running errands today, Dot had no intention of leaving my side so Grandma could take her for a nap. She has been getting SUPER upset when I leave her for the past week or two – she breaks down if I put my shoes on, even to just go downstairs. I try to wear slippers when I can – those don’t seem to bother her yet! If she is going too, I have to put HER shoes on first, or she is upset anyway because she thinks she isn’t going with me!
We went to town this morning – Dot had a great time but I was VERY tired. She was very well behaved and had fun riding in the cart at BJs. We picked up a Subway sandwich for lunch and she devoured hers – I get turkey for her since she doesn’t get it at home (I’m allergic). They had a really cute fabric bag that it came in, and we needed some of them for toys!
