This morning, Dot announced that she has three bellybuttons and two bottoms. Not the most awesome thing I would have wanted for her first independent verbal expression, but it will be funny to torture her with it when she gets older.
Dot just counted to 29… a couple of times. She was talking and I didn’t shift my attention until she got to TATTOO (22) and then kept going! I think I’ve counted to 30 for her maybe five times total, and the last time was more than a week ago!
Dot says “Peek-a-boo” now – although it comes out as “Pop – boo!”
Dot’s new word this week is “Okay.” I wish I knew where she got this cute southern belle accent!
Last night, we relaxed and watched a movie, and Dot noticed Daddy’s tattoo. She is getting pretty good at repeating words, so we taught her the word “tattoo” and she thought that was pretty neat. This morning she was thumbing through my Italian lesson manual and I heard her say, “TATTOO!” I asked her where, and she pointed to the big lesson number 22. “Twenty-two?” I asked her. “TATTOO! TATTOO!” she responded.
